Stone Fireplace Surround

Our client came to us wanting to get rid of the bulky built ins in their recently purchased home to free up space in the living room and make it more cozy. We think this turned out beautifully. We started by removing the built in cabinets. After this was done, we framed in the gaps in the wall and laid out the new fireplace. We built the surround with LSL lumber, ensuring straight lines and square corners. After sourcing the perfect stone, this project came together quickly. We topped this fireplace off with a nice oak floating mantel.
